The Spargetoberfest 5K is a FUN family and pet friendly run/walk/stroll through Wellington neighborhoods. Not a runner? Stroll through the course and take advantage of the Slip ‘n Slide, games, music and refreshments along the course. Then after getting your finisher medal relax in Sparge Field or in the taproom, grab lunch from a food truck and browse local vendors. Of course, our oh-so-popular DUNK TANK will feature a few of Wellington’s finest!
Just there to cheer at the finish line? The Sparge taproom will be open at 9 AM so you can grab a beverage while you wait.
Registration is $30 and includes a breakfast item, beverage and Spargetoberfest 5K shirt (See Restriction).
Kids 10 and under free with a registered adult, shirts sold separately.
RACE INFORMATION
Spargetoberfest 5K is a timed race.
Registration for runners/walkers includes one free beer or non-alcoholic beverage and a breakfast item. Post-race activities include vendors, music, and drawings throughout the event.
Award Ceremony will be held on Sparge Field at 11 AM.
PARKING
Runners should park in the lots surrounding 6598 Buttercup Dr. and the adjacent section of Wine Cup St. There will be no parking at Sparge Brewing or along GW Bush during the race. We encourage you to rideshare or walk if possible. Road guards will assist you, please follow their directions.
ROUTE
The route begins at Sparge Brewery, follows the Wellington bike path and ends at Sparge Brewery. Check out the 2021 race video for highlights.

Neighborhoods are encouraged to participate: decorate your yard, host a hydration or snack station, Super Soakers? Hopscotch? Be creative as you cheer on the 5K runners/walkers/strollers!
